KEEP THE MOVEMENT ALIVE FUND
The Keep the Movement Alive Fund provides essential, flexible support to sustain the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement’s programs, advocacy campaigns, and community initiatives. Contributions help cover operations and program delivery—ensuring AADM can respond quickly to emerging civil rights challenges, support marginalized communities, and continue fighting systemic discrimination.
This fund keeps the organization running at full capacity, empowering leaders, protecting rights, and advancing justice—beyond what volunteers alone can sustain.
End School To Prison Pipeline FUND
The End School-to-Prison Pipeline Fund supports youth participation in AADM’s summer camps, travel-based learning experiences, and hands-on programs that teach civil rights, advocacy, and leadership. The fund helps cover costs so all youth have access to these educational opportunities, along with free resources and information to understand their rights and challenge inequitable school policies.
Freedom Fund
The AADM Freedom Fund provides critical financial support to individuals navigating unjust and discriminatory systems. The Freedom Fund also supports the essential infrastructure of justice, including legal research, peaceful protest, and sustained advocacy efforts that drive systemic change. In addition to help cover the costs for:
Legal fines, probation fees, court-mandated classes,
Bail support, rehabilitation programs,
Driver’s license reinstatement,
Eviction prevention & hotel vouchers—key barriers that often prevent people from achieving stability and self-sufficiency.
By removing financial and systemic obstacles, we empower individuals to reclaim their lives and their rights.
Women Wellness & JUSTICE Leadership FUND
This fund empowers women to participate in AADM’s leadership cohort by providing scholarships, wellness resources, rights education, and skill-building experiences. It ensures all participants can engage in transformative learning, develop leadership skills, and advocate for justice—regardless of financial barriers.
Mission:
To honor the legacy of Debra Brenner by equipping women with the tools, skills, and support to achieve personal well-being, leadership excellence, and community impact.
