On April 17, we’re hosting a special session and learning opportunity: the Athens Housing SWOT Analysis Session with artist, community leader, and housing advocate Broderick Flanagan. This interactive session is a critical step in laying the foundation for a new housing ordinance rooted in the Racial Equity Resolution. Together, we’ll assess the current housing landscape in Athens by identifying key Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats, with a focus on racial equity and community-led solutions.
Broderick Flanagan brings a unique perspective as both a community leader and housing advocate, highlighting how advocacy, and policy can come together to shape a more just and inclusive Athens.
Don’t miss this chance to learn, contribute, and help shape the future of housing in our community. Location via Zoom and in person at ACC Library Room C.
