In October 2016, co-founders Mokah-Jasmine and Knowa Johnson, of the “Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement” launched the “United Against Discrimination” sticker campaign to encourage business owners to stand in solidarity against discrimination regardless of race, gender, age, sexual orientation, or immigration status.
Our goal is to break racial barriers and create a more diverse and inclusive culture in downtown Athens and surrounding areas. Scroll down to see current participating businesses!
How does this work?
A business owner or individual get a sticker and join the movement by completing the following steps:
Step 1: Pledge to continuously work towards creating a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
Step 2: Join the movement by displaying a sticker on the front door or window of your business.
Step 3: Commit to attending one of AADM’s workplace training or annual conferences.
If you would like to stand in solidarity with AADM, please fill out the form below to get a sticker.
Thank You,
Mokah-Jasmine Johnson, AADM President and Co-Founder
