Join us for the next Justice & Accountability Committee (JAC) meeting on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 via Zoom 5:00-6:30 PM. Moving forward, we will meet on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Wednesdays of each month (self-care break-every 4th Wednesday).
Have you reviewed the FY26 Mayor’s Recommended Budget? The budget will be up for discussion and public comment at the upcoming Mayor & Commission Agenda Setting Meeting on Tuesday, May 20 at 6:00 PM, held at City Hall, 301 College Avenue.
This is a critical opportunity to advocate for a budget that truly reflects our community’s needs.
We must call on our local government to prioritize investment in social services—including housing, mental health care, and youth development—as a proven strategy to reduce incarceration and save taxpayer dollars by addressing root causes, not just the symptoms.
