The AADM Justice and Accountability Committee address community concerns, and build collective action around justice initiatives. Attending JAC meetings are a great way to get involved with the movement.
The Justice and Accountability Committee hosts two community meetings each month focused on addressing critical justice issues impacting our community. These meetings create space for education, advocacy, organizing, and collective problem-solving.
On the first Monday of each month, meetings focus on housing justice issues, including tenant rights, housing insecurity, discrimination, affordability, zoning, and community accountability around housing policies. Our current advocacy campaign is focused on pushing for affordable housing solutions and policy changes that increase access to safe, stable, and affordable housing for working families and marginalized communities.
Community members are encouraged to attend, share concerns, learn about ongoing advocacy efforts, and discover ways to get involved in creating meaningful change.
