Angela Davis Lecture: Teen Social Justice Field Trip

"Candler’s Laney Program in Moral Leadership presents a lecture by activist, writer, and scholar Angela Davis on Wednesday, October 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary of Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church. This event is free and open to the public, and registration for the event is currently at capacity."AADM have reserved several tickets and our goal is to take 7 students from Athens Clarke County to Mrs.Davis lecture. Students who participate will be required to write a short essay describing their experience.1:30 pm Departure for Athens (meet at AADM Office)6:30 pm LectureTime of Return: TBAPlease fill out the form below, if your child would like to attend. Ages 13-18 welcomed. Students selected will be notified by October 5th. FREE of charge no cost to students. Travel to and from is covered by ESTPP volunteers.
