Supporting Families Impacted by Hurricane Melissa

December 11th, 2025. Doors open 6pm. @ Hendershots 237 Prince Ave. Athens, Ga

Join us for an uplifting and meaningful night as Georgia comes together to support Jamaica! Reggae Vibes Fundraiser is a celebration of culture, community, and compassion all to raise funds and gather practical resources for families recovering from Hurricane Melissa.

Whether you can attend in person or simply want to make a donation, your contribution will make a direct impact on rebuilding lives.

Hurricane Melissa has devastated communities across the island: homes destroyed, livelihoods lost, and families fighting every day to rebuild. Jamaica need us now more than ever, and we are committed to doing our part. The Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement (AADM) has a long history of standing with communities in times of crisis, through advocacy, education, and hands-on support. In that same spirit, AADM Co-Founders Mokah & Knowa Johnson will travel to Jamaica to document the impact of Hurricane Melissa and personally deliver essential resources to affected families.

We’re calling on our allies, supporters, and everyone who wants to make a real difference. Helps us bring relief, restore hope, and support Jamaica’s recovery.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Your donation will support:
• Travel to affected regions
• Purchase emergency supplies for families
• On-the-ground relief
• Document real stories of survival, resilience, and rebuilding
