Our team can provide information, resources, and guidance to help you understand your options and navigate the next steps. We also host bi-monthly Clinics where community members can receive education, ask questions, and connect with available resources.
You don't have to navigate the criminal legal system alone. AADM provides information, support, referrals, and advocacy to help individuals and families understand their rights and take the next steps.

The court system can be confusing. We help you understand what to expect before court, explain common court procedures, and connect you with resources. While we are not attorneys and cannot provide legal representation, we can help you better understand the process.

Our Justice Help Line connects individuals and families with information, community resources, and guidance related to arrests, incarceration, probation, reentry, and civil rights concerns.
Filing Complaints
If you believe your rights were violated by law enforcement or while someone was incarcerated, we can help you document what happened and explain available options for filing complaints or seeking additional support.
Community Advocacy
We work with community members to advocate for safer jail conditions, police accountability, transparency, fair treatment, and policies that strengthen public safety while protecting human dignity.

We offer advocacy support for persons experiencing discrimination in Athens-Clarke County and the immediate surrounding area, including Barrow, Jackson, Madison, Oconee, and Oglethorpe counties. Unfortunately, we cannot handle complaints outside of this area.
