Women's Wellness & Justice Initiative

The AADM Women's Wellness & Justice Initiative is an intergenerational program, dedicated to helping women manage stress, prevent burnout, build meaningful relationships, and prioritize their emotional, physical, and social well-being.

We recognize that women often carry the weight of family responsibilities, caregiving, work, financial pressures, and personal challenges while putting their own needs last.

Our program creates welcoming and supportive spaces where women can focus on themselves, share experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and connect with other women navigating similar life experiences.

Generations of Women's Wellness

We provide monthly or quarterly programming in four areas:

  • Women's Wellness Circles: Mind, Body & Emotional Wellness sessions on stress reduction, mindfulness, healthy boundaries, nutrition, and preventing burnout. Small, supportive group gatherings that allow women to openly discuss personal challenges, emotional wellness, relationships, and life experiences.

  • Confidence & Community Leadership: workshops on conflict resolution, women rights, confidence building, healthy relationships, and community leadership.

  • Resources & Support: through our Annual Women’s Fest and resource day, we Connecting women with community resources, wellness professionals, caregiver assistance, educational opportunities, and other supportive services.

Helping women prioritize their health, reclaim their peace, and strengthen their personal and professional lives.

Who we serve

The program welcomes adult women across generations, particularly those who:

  • Desire supportive relationships, improved confidence, healthier boundaries, and opportunities for personal growth.

  • Experience chronic stress, burnout, or emotional exhaustion from work, family, or community responsibilities.

  • Serve as caregivers for children, aging parents, spouses, or family members with disabilities.

  • Are navigating major life transitions, including divorce, grief, menopause, empty nesting, or changing family roles.

  • Experience injustice, social isolation, or limited access to wellness resources.

  • Are community leaders, educators, advocates, or nonprofit workers experiencing compassion fatigue.

The initiative will prioritize outreach to women of color, low-income women, and underserved communities while remaining inclusive of women from diverse backgrounds.
