Women’s Wellness & justice Leadership cohort

The Women’s Wellness and Justice Leadership Cohort is an AADM initiative designed to empower women through a holistic blend of rights education, wellness practices, and leadership development. Rooted in our mission to fight systemic discrimination, this program supports women in navigating inequities, protecting their well-being, and stepping into leadership roles within their families, workplaces, and communities.

About the Program

Social justice work is a powerful driver of change, but it often brings emotional, physical, and mental challenges that can make long-term advocacy difficult.

Recognizing this, the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement (AADM) launched the Women’s Wellness & Justice Leadership Cohort in honor of Debra Brenner, a longtime board member who passed in 2025.

This cohort empowers women to understand their rights, strengthen their well-being, and cultivate leadership skills that enable them to advocate effectively, sustain their impact, and lead with confidence and purpose. Through rights-based education, wellness practices, and leadership development, participants gain the tools to protect themselves, inspire their communities, and drive meaningful social change.

We invite you to join a community of women committed to wellness, empowerment, and collective action.
