The Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement (AADM) Black Entrepreneurs Empowerment Network is dedicated to supporting Black and Minority entrepreneurs by providing networking opportunities, mentorship, and pop-up marketplaces. Our mission is to help entrepreneurs promote their products, grow their brands, and expand their customer base. Program Objectives
1. Increase Awareness and Visibility
- Launch and maintain a comprehensive online directory showcasing Black-owned businesses from Athens to Atlanta, increasing visibility and consumer accessibility.
- Promote businesses through digital platforms, curated business listings, and targeted marketing campaigns to elevate Black entrepreneurship and brand recognition.
2. Pop-Up Markets & Networking Opportunities
- Organize BEE Markets at high-visibility locations to boost foot traffic and product exposure.
- Host networking events, workshops, and business expos to connect entrepreneurs with potential customers, collaborators, and investors.
- Collaborate with local organizations, financial institutions, and corporate partners to offer mentorship and development programs that support long-term success.
3. Funding and Financial Support
- Biannually, eligible entrepreneurs can apply for financial grants ranging from $500 to $2,500 to assist with start-up costs, business growth, and operational needs.
