AADM Fundraising and Documentary

The Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement (AADM) has been fighting discrimination and advocating for racial and social justice through education and activism since 2015, and we would not have been able to do this work without the continued support from the Athens community. This year, AADM has a goal to raise $20,000 by April 1st to help us continue serving Athens.

The funds raised will go directly towards supporting our programs, such as the Freedom Fund, and the cost of rent for the new AADM Justice Center. The Freedom Fund was established in 2020 to help our community members with legal assistance, bail support, and community service. Donations can be made on our website, at http://www.aadmovement.org/donate/

If you can’t assist with a donation at this time, you can still help by sharing our donation page within your network!

Stay tuned this Spring for a documentary, filmed by James Preston, that highlights the work AADM has done within our community, and features interviews with individuals we’ve been able to help. You can find a sneak peak of the full documentary here!

If you missed the grand opening of the AADM Justice Center and bookstore, you can still come by and check it out! The Justice Center and bookstore is open Tuesday-Friday, from 12:00 to 5:00 pm. AADM services (advocacy, community service, and bail/legal support) are by appointment only. We’re located at 3190 Atlanta Hwy., Ste 25, Athens, GA 30606.
