AADM Virtual Candidate Meet & Greet-April 4th

April 4th, 2020, the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement will host an online Candidate Meet and Greet Forum (Live on Facebook) 12:30-1:30 pm. This will be a two part session. Part 1. includes candidates running for office within Athens Clarke County from current and opposing commissioners to school board candidates. Part 2. will include justice and judicial candidates.

This session will be moderated by AADM Board Members John Olive and Mykiesha Ross and the general public can submit questions in advance by clicking the link below to submit your comment or by posting questions during the live session.

What to expect?

  • This meet and greet will air live on the AADM Facebook group page through Zoom. To watch this forum visit https://www.facebook.com/AADMovement
  • All panelist can use the Zoom link below to join the conversation. We request that all panelist login no later than 12:15 (15 minutes early) just incase you need tech assistance.
  • Each candidate will have a 1-2 minute introduction, state why they’re running, and for which district.
  • The moderator will ask 2-3 warm-up questions directly to the current and opposing candidate (if any)
  • Finally, the moderator will open up for public Q/A. Viewers can watch and post questions on Facebook.
