Media Alert: Athens Mayoral Forum has been moved to a new location.

Athens, Ga – The Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement-Mayoral Forum location has been changed and will now be hosted at Athens Clarke County Library March 12th, 6 pm. Due to unforeseen circumstances, this Mayoral Forum had to be moved from its original location, Cine, and is taking place at the Athens Clarke County Library, located at 2025 Baxter Street.

The forum is completely free to attend and will kick off at 6 pm when participating mayoral candidates take the stage to answer questions about their plans to address local issues.

Confirmed qualifying candidates include Kelly Girtz, Richie Knight, and Harry Sims who as are confirmed to speak. Guests can expect the discussion to center around their action plans to address poverty in Athens, quality of life, diversity and community inclusion.

AADM hopes to facilitate a conversation that will allow Athenians to make informed choices while strictly remaining an unbiased party. While the event is free, seating will be limited. AADM does not endorse any mayoral candidate and this forum is designed to educate the general public.
