Athens, GA. – The Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement (AADM) will be hosting a Know Your Rights Workshop and Legal Clinic on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the AADM Justice Center and Bookstore, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.
The Know Your Rights Workshop will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm and will include an informative presentation reviewing citizen rights when dealing with law enforcement. The workshop will be followed by AADM’s first pop-up legal clinic, during which community members will be able to speak with local attorneys and advocates about their discrimination complaints and receive legal advice and referrals for legal aid.
The AADM Justice Center and Bookstore is located inside the Georgia Square Mall, across from Belk on the first floor. Refreshments will be provided.
In an effort to keep our community safe and healthy, masks and social distancing will be required.
