AADM round table discussion talks race and policing

When Kaela Yamini, president of NAACP UGA, saw her peers attending Turning Point USA’s Campus Clash event last semester, it deepened her understanding of how desensitized people have become regarding what she considers to be racist events.

Her experience was one of many discussed at a public roundtable event hosted by Mokah Speaks Podcast at Cine on Jan. 9. The podcast was created by Mokah-Jasmine Johnson, president and co-founder of the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement.
