Women Empowerment Brunch: Breaking Racial Barriers

It’s Time For a Real Conversation.

July 14th, 2019, 12:30-3 pm. Join Mokah-Jasmine Johnson for a real conversation and women empowerment brunch at Washington Square Studio 251 W Washington St, Athens, GA 30601 . We will review and discuss the intersection of the feminist movement and the differences in treatment between white women and women of color.

The question is can women become true ally’s and build a sisterhood across color-lines?

Attendees will have an opportunity to identify their own biases and have a difficult, but needed conversation about women +racism in a safe space.

If you choose to attend this event. Be prepared to keep it real, get uncomfortable and to be empowered. Facilitator, Mokah-Jasmine Johnson expects all attendee’s to be open and honest.
