AADM to Host James Woodall’s New Book Release

AADM to host book signing & conversation

Athens, G.A.–  Civil rights advocate, politician, and minister James Woodall has released a new book titled “Wired for Racism: How Evolution & Faith Move Us to Change Racial Idolatry” and will be discussing it at an event hosted by the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement (AADM) on Saturday, August 6th, 2022. The book focuses on how in many ways we were “wired for racism” through the lens of evolutionary biology, recent brain research, and religion, but also provides hope that the elasticity of the brain may “enable genuine progress”.

Join us on Saturday, August 6th, from 12:30pm- 2:00pm at the AADM Justice Center and Bookstore for the release of James Woodall’s new book and an important follow-up discussion. Copies of the book will be for sale and available for Mr. Woodall to sign.

This event is free and open to the public, but donations are always welcome. All donations will support the programs and services provided by Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement, including bailout assistance and legal support for the Athens community; the Teen Social Justice Program; our Community Service program; community events, and much more.

The AADM Justice Center is located inside the Georgia Square Mall (3700 Atlanta Hwy, Athens, GA 30606), on the first floor across from Belk.
